Well fish one ChancesR zero for this weekend. I didn't even get the boat out due to the wind/rain/waves, and now the map shows the water is cloudy. But we do have a silver lining for the week from favorable S/SW winds and colder water!!!

Great news and excellent report! I figured they would go crazy in 30mph winds ...

Piled up like cord wood out there! Stock up on extra large Fatheads and get out to Gary Light ...

I was at the boat on Sunday in the afternoon and met a neighbor who had gone out to Salmon fish earlier at the hole in the wall and the Inland shipping canal. If you had got out earlier it was definitely possible because when I showed up at noon the waves were not as bad as I had thought near shore. I was close to going myself until I heard reports of Tornadoes in Elk Grove Village.

You gotta work that negativity out PB or it's gonna eat you up from the inside my friend.

No negativity here ChancesR, many years of experience and just using some common sense! I think it's awsome that someone would take the chance and go out onto Lake Michigan with a weather report from above! Strong winds, rain, Gale storm winds with waves up to 9' .....thats just simply incredible and true dedication to the sport! Thanks for sharing the info ....

My neighbor's 30ft tiara in 3ft waves is probably not gonna be an issue. He said it was not that bad earlier in the day because of the wind direction coming off shore. Like I said, I was at the Lake and it wasn't as bad as I thought it should have been due to weather report. Then agaIn with over Twenty years of owning a boat on the great Lakes I have missed some pretty good days because I believed the weather report. I have also been caught in some pretty nasty storms as well when the weather reports called for calm days!

It's only Rock n Roll....... But I like it even when it goes against common sense!
