You want some fresh gator? Or even better, some bull frog legs? Moose is some killer if you can get someone to donate it. Wild duck egg rolls gotta make the appetizer list along with some crispy fried alligator gar balls. Oh, and don't forget the U10 shrimp heads, carapace removed and crispy fried. Maybe some nutria or then again, maybe not.

I was seriously, dead serious. Nothing wild and gamier than feral turkeys and asian carp.

Road kill was another thought. Can't tell you how many roadside deer I've seen in the UP with their back straps carved off.

Still can't figure out what the obsession with kicking everyone in the nuts is. Most guys I knew outgrew that phase by age 9. Girls kept kicking until about 15 (puberty thing, I think)

Fyi, it is illegal to buy or sell any game without special permits. Edible parts of game harvested by a licensed hunter are not often permitted to be bought or sold. Game offered for sale must come from licensed game farms.

Just don't want to see anyone get burned.

There are bears and moose just a few hours to the north of Chicago, but I'm not sure if there is a hunting season, or anyone on this site who could provide? Zimmerman's meat market might help fill in gaps or make connections, or just inform of where wild game can be taken in the region (they're over in Orland somewhere). I think there are boar across the Mississippi close by, but I'm not sure, depending on how local/ regional you want to get.
