Larry Dahlberg Night Before the Musky Show Thursday Jan 8
On Thursday January 8th, 2015 FRV proudly presents the legendary Larry Dahlberg star of Hunt for Big Fish TV!
Dahlberg a MN native, started with In Fisherman back in the early 80’s as a writer for the magazine as well as a face on the show. He became involved with fishing tournaments and found himself doing less & less fishing as a result. He thought he could do his own TV show and from the outset was comfortable co-starring with monster fish. Now, some 15 years later, Dahlberg might be the most traveled angler in history. A member of the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, Dahlberg is a world-class fisherman whether he has a fly, bait-casting or spinning rod in his hand. Known for the flies that bear his name -- the "Dahlberg Diver,'' for one, has fooled many a northern pike -- and an ability to cast his own jigs and pour his own plastic baits, Dahlberg is, simply, among the world's elite anglers. Come join us on Thursday January 8th, 2015 when Larry presents his seminar entitled “Transpositions”. What is “transpositions” you ask? According to Larry “Doing what I've done for the past 25 years, traveling to a strange place to catch not just a fish, but a very large specimen of a species I may know little or nothing about; has taught me that the art of "transposition" might be the most important tool in angling. Especially when "they're not biting"...Transposing environmental clues, tactics and strategies from one place, species or discipline to another.
