Default Burnham 8/4 report

hey guys, I hit Burnham harbor with the yak this am...was really nice, managed to find a few smallies off the west wall and one moderately sized sheepshead hit my plastic craw...put in at the handicapped pier on the east side of the harbor...

oh, and I just bought a scotty rod holder for the yak...plan to mount it somewhere in the middle of the cockpit...thanks for the help with the rigging questions...

I was messing with the Scotties in the store yesterday and they seemed real stiff and hard to adjust. I imagined flipping myself while wrestling with them out on the water. I picked up a couple of Berkley's instead. Here's what I put together today.

Nice report! (I have yet to catch a smallmouth out of Lake Michigan)

NICE , it must be a rush to catch a 15/20lb. King & get towed aroud.

Brings back memories back about the late 60's,(ouch that long ago?) well, we used to go out in a 10 foot row boat , South of Kenosha (Carol Beach) trying to do the Salmon thing. Shore fishing was never good enough, had to always try to get ahead of the edge, a bit farther, better fishing.

NEVER SATISFIED

Yes. A couple of large hose clamps strap it to a piece of 1/2 copper pipe that has a tee soldered on the end. The copper pipe slides through a hole in the white PVC tubing. It's held by a pin and can be moved up and down and set at the length needed.
