Default Looking for fishing buddy

I am semi retired and just taking up kayak fishing and looking for a fishing buddy. I am looking to start out on some smooth water to start. I am able to do day trips for fishing for now with longer trips in the future.
I am buying a kayak later this week and have a canoe and nice 18' alumacraft fishing boat.
I am located in Orland Park.

Gerry

Try posting on Chi town angler a ton of Kayakers and they are always will to share info. A group of 8-10 just had a group outing that looked like a lot of fun!!!

Hi Gerry, Have any luck finding Yakers in Orland?
I'm in the Orland area and have some places you might like to start with

I'm few and far between, Gerryk - and I'm no pro either... but if I know I'm heading out or getting the itch, I'll drop you a message and see if you're available to get out in the yaks. I'm in La Grange.

edit: I also signed up for "that other site", but haven't been approved either.

Hey Jerry,

If you ever wanted to take some float trips on the Kank, let me know. Lemont quarries are a nice place to go with the yak too. I've got time off during the week in the summer. Good fishing. Paul S
