63rd Harbor Friday 20th June
Decided to have make a mid day trip out to 63rd Harbor around noon-ish.
Was fishing in the small brush areas with a friend of mine. I tried using some plastics and had nothing happening. Luckily my friend is convinced on the miracle of wax worms so we picked up a pack of those prior to heading out and that's when everything started happening.
Within an hour we were landing some small Bluegills left and right. Both of us were using light tackle, I had Fireline 6lb, with a Thill GM Mini Stealth, using a #6 mustad red. Not sure what my friend was using but he had the same float.
After an hour it died off but not before my friend got a decent sized Rock Bass.
Best day of fishing I've had all month.
