Default Wats up with the steelheads and browns

Has anybody catch this fish yet i been to montrose and belmont but nada saw some cohos at belmont but thats it . Just wondering if anybody has had more luck or seen this fish around is it their time already to be around or wat . I know the best bait is shrimp and spawn , skein and maybe some spoons and cranks let me know some info .

they are mixed in but will get better as it gets cooler. about the same time when femaled chinooks eggs are loose

That should be next week there should be key spots to target browns in these harbors. I would think where ever the king are at browns will follow. I would think there feeding habits would thange and they would be more weary and harder to catch.

They might be a lil hard mmmm maybe but im goin to throw my weapons at them im goin for steelheads with shrimp and skein and spawn sacs and wat ever i can thats for sure i gather alot of info last year from alot of reports so i think i might be ready just for them boys to get close to the harbors and then its on Montrose its were ill be and ill hit belmont for sure .

I was checked for fishing license again today at montrose harbor by chicago police dept. The city must be hard up for money. In all of my years of fishing there, I have never been checked so many times. But that is fine with me, I am always legal.

I did not see anything caught today at montrose in 2 hours of fishing. I did see a few jumping but nothing caught.

It has been real slow they should turn on if we get some good west wind for at least 2 days. I think it is a morning bite right now first light just a hunch though.

what is the bite like after 11pm. Thats when I get off work and I was going to throw some glow spoons and glow traps for a couple hours one night after work. Do the kings bite well at night or is it pointless.

Yes the do but chance are low.
