Default fishing liquid dirt

Started fishing around 11:30am in lower end of park. Rains from last night brought river up 6"and wiped out any clarity gained over past three days. Threw 3/16oz keeper hook w/ various plastics around any downed trees and large wood in main river that created some type of break beyond the actual shoreline. Retrieve was SLOW. Managed two bites that dropped it as quick as they picked it up in an hour and a half. What held active fish yesterday, seemed void today. Looked at five different creeks trying to find something that had some type of mud line or visibility, only one appeared to have potential. The creek is small(maybe 20ft. wide max) and I wouldn't even consider fishing if river was at normal pool.Second cast along the mud line I landed a 17"-18" walleye, fell prey to a 4" senko w/glass rattle. Managed approx. ten smallmouth from 10"-16" on plastics and two on a #3 mepps from the mouth to 50 yards up the creek. Ended up better than anticipated, left around 3pm.
