Default Minnow Bucket

I , like many others , have a prob. keeping minnows alive , in the warmer temps . I have come up with a system that helps . They make soft freezer packs . Take the freezer packs and freeze them over a laid down coffee can . I put my minnow bucket in a 5 gal. bucket . Then slide the freezer packs between the minnow bucket and the 5 gal. They , the freezer packs , won't usually last all day , but they most certainly keep your minnow bucket water cooler . THAT helps minnows last longer .

Just my idea , that I thought I would share .

Frozen water bottles work equally as well. And for livewells, frozen 2 liter bottles

That's exactly what we do on our week long trips. Good reuse of water bottles before recycling. And after a day or so you can get a rotation going (some always in the freezer and ready)

Dropping a cheap aquarium pump/bubbler really helps with overnight storage as well.

Changing water often (at least 50% once a day) goes a long way as well.
