Thanks guys. It was a fun outing, I like the lake, the town and the area and believe if you ever got there you'd like it too.

Could it be a yearly stop perhaps. I have not fished as many as those dye hards yet I enjoyed it. It was not as hot and heavy, trophy waters as Door County, Dale Hollow can get but it was noteworthy at a dozen fish a day if you are a small mouth enthusiast, certainly worth the trip.

Btw it is in the top 100 smallmouth lakes in the Country and at 3 hrs from O'Hare a must visit in my book. Booked it Dano. Ha!

Muskegon Lake MI is also in the top 100 Smallie waters.... Great Walleye waters too.

I have a call into Lance but of course no response ?

Its interesting isn't it that good smallmouth waters also happen to be good Eyeball waters too.

Why do you think that is ? Forage, clear clean bodies...
