From the look of the lack of reports on the fox does anyone still fish it?
I have fished it my whole life and 6-7 years ago this site was loaded with people making reports and talking about the fox.

Was out at Geneva dam week before last got skunked, hit st Charles Wednesday did preety good with a 4" chartrues mister twister 5-6 smallies none with any size

Heading back out tonite to north aurora

Tons of people do. I see them every time I go out. I was feeding my friend's cats while he was out of town and dropped by Algonquin dam last night and got a couple nice smallies.

I think the deal is that people are posting fewer and fewer reports on this site for whatever reason.

I'm out here and chomping at the bit to go wading but the river has generally been very high so far this year.
I was out once and got some but fighting the current wasn't very enjoyable.

No. No one fishes it anymore. Stay away. There's no more fish left in it. It's dirty and smelly and gross.
In fact, just go up north where the fish are bigger and so are the boats!
