Default High river ... again

I'm a big advocate of fishing the Fox when it's high in the spring but in the summer I enjoy wading.
This latest batch of rain has the river raging again.
For me, anything over 2000 CFS is a pain and prohibits me from fishing some places, in fact even 1800 CFS stops me from fishing some favorite places.
Under 1000 CFS is relaxing and somewhere in between is ok if I really want to go catch fish.
Here's a link to get a quick look.

http://river-reports.com/state/illin...t-south-elgin/

The site has a nice search feature upper left to have a look at whatever area or river you want to check out.

Very informative Ed. Didn't know it. Thank you for pointing it out.

How's the family? Good I trust. Are you back in town now?

Upper and lower river closed to boat traffic and the chain is under a no wake.
