I got out 3 days ago, but only gave myself 20 minutes to fish until darkness. I hooked 2 whopper FRoppers and lost them both. One was a flop off and the other I lost trying to lip it boatside. Both were big strong fish. It rained that night and the next day and now the Fox jumped up about 60% flow-wise. Clarity went down about 50% from the rain.
It was nice to get out today away from all the bad news on the TV and radio. I picked a quiet spot, not a human in sight, not even myself. Typical fishing tactics--slow water next to fast water. Picked a spot with some downed trees also. FRappies were scattered, but there. First came this beat up scrapper.
Then a bigger and prettier guy
Only one hit in the darkness
Such pretty fish. They were exceptionally well-behaved for the photographs. As much as my face itched, I refrained from touching it in case any of these guys were carrying CROPVID-19.
