Default Catfish - Hot Dog Rig anyone?

Easy to use and very productive.
One of the guys commented that untold numbers of
Catfish have been taken on Hot Dogs.

I have used hotdog chunks soaked in Fish Formula for stocked cats and it works. Never used a whole hotdog!

Yeah, they really do work. I like to soak chunks of them on sardine oil. Man, they love that!

I've used a 1/4 ounce jig head through a chunk of the cheapest cheese hot dogs in the store. The cats don't seem to follow Kosher laws because the pork and chicken hot dogs work way better for me than Kosher, plus the cheap skin on the outside of the dog helps the hook stay. I also like to shoot into the hot dog a shot of a generic cheese wiz in cheddar, seems to help attract them more. I've caught channels from 1 pd to 11.25pds on this. Cheap and easy.

Anise oil or garlic soaked dogs work well too.
