Default Photobucket question

Hi all:

I read about a charge for 3rd party hosting. When I opened several of the threads this morning instead of pictures I see this warning picture saying 'Update your account to enable 3rd party hosting.

My question am I supposed to do something within this URL and if so - how do I do it?

Thanks
Mike

Photobucket now requires you to pay if you want to share pictures on a 3rd party site. They removed all the pics on 3rd party sites for the non payers. I think I signed up last year for $15 for their ad free service because it got to the point where I couldn't even navigate anymore because of the ads..

Yeah, it seems Photobucket has changed it's TOS...

What I'd like to know how to do is this:

How does a person remove their pics from Photobucket and upload it to a different hosting site?

I could use a simple step-by-step description as I have no idea how to do it.

I have struggled with this as well. Google photos doesn't work anymore. I finally settled on imgur, but it takes some work to find the "real" URL to embed them. It might be nice if the CFL owners allowed more than 10mb of files to be uploaded... just saying...

I think CFL used to be the Canadian Football League

I haven't seen anything that limits things to 10mb nor found anywhere for it to be changed.

On another note, can't Google Drive be used?
Test
Yes, Google drive pics can be used. That gives you 15GB of space free.

Google drive has the same problem as Google Photos: It seems to work, but only if you are logged into a Google account on that computer that has access to the photos.

I bet if you open this thread in Private browsing mode, the image will be broken. (It is broken for me, even if I take the URL and paste it in a new window)

Regarding the 10mb limit I'll attach a screenshot shortly.

Hey guys,

There are other sites and means to uploading images.
I would recommend that you guys use the attachment manager on the site.
That way your images are hosted on the site, and you won't need to worry about losing them.

With that said, we have our tech guys working on a solution for this photobucket issue.
Though we do not have anything to announce just yet.

Richard.

Can you comment on the 10mb worth of attachments limit?

I would use this exclusively if not for the fact that I can't upload more than a few photos before I have to delete old ones to stay under 10mb.
