Default Boat blind areas???

I am fairly new to the waterfowl world. As all of you know, once you get duck on the brain, you can't get it off. Last season was a learning experience for me and my hunting partner. This year, we've come down with a bad case of duckaholism. If the wife knew how much we've spent on gear, I'd be a single man. Long story short, it only took one season to realize how much the public blinds suck. So we constructed a boat blind in the off season, thinking it would open our options to where we can hunt. I've done a lot of research regarding the rules and regulations of boat blinds. We are having a hard time finding an area to hunt. We would like to primarily hunt the Kank or the Des Plaines. I'm not asking for your honey hole, just maybe a suggestion to help a fellow duck hunter out. If you don't want your suggestion to be seen, feel free to PM me

I'm glad somebody else is wondering as well. I just bought my first duck boat and am looking for the same information. I would be hunting the Illinois, desplains, and kankakee. I live in the marseilles area and use to know a couple spots on the river there but not sure if anything has changed over the years with where you can or cannot hunt.
