fishing Sunday

I am planning on taking my boat out Sunday (probably out of Waukegan). I haven't been able to make it out much this year since the spring - having a new baby does that to you - and I would like to troll for some coho. I have a set of downriggers that I bought late last year and still haven't found the time to use them. I actually have never used downriggers before, so its gonna be a learning experience regardless. Is it even worth heading out for coho this late in the season? Everything I am reading here is saying to just shore fish from the harbors, or go for the perch from the boat. If thats the case, I enjoy perch fishing also, and will probably head out from 95th street instead of up north (I live in Orland Park). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Dave
