k3 dam

in high water, you are more likely to see guys fishing from the bridges than over by the hydro plant .

the dam in downtown Kankakee ?

Does anyone still fish the dam in downtown Kankakee ? I remember the convenience of fishing the north side of the dam , where you could park your car a few feet from where you fished and Lanny's Bait was right there. Then that changed and the south side of the dam became the homeless & crackhead meeting place. I drove past there yesterday and didn't see anyone fishing there, what a shame. I can remember a dozen guys wading in front of the dam at this time of the year.
