Eye for an Eye, i was going to ask you if you were member. I saw you catch bass that looked to be some what decent of size. I know wish i would have brought my waders instead of sticking to shore

EYE for an EYE
FRF,
Eye was one of the 2 waders out there on Sat. I was walking in just as you were catching your second smb and we spoke briefly in passing. I figured you to be a CLFer when you took the picture.....By that time i was already too far to talk.
Water temp i had was 50 which is why the smallies were activated. I did get a bunch.....Mostly between 3 and dusk. Did get a 15" eye as well. Jig and tweesters & jig n meenow worked for me.

I got a nice fat 16 inch smallie this weekend on a shallow running crank bait. I had to pick the bait out of her throat, she ate it.
I was fishing along concrete bridge pillars. I let my buddy have a number of good spots as he does not fish as much. He got two smallies and a large mouth.
I also caught about a 7 pound carp snagged in the side with a Mepps while fishing for pike.

No, i was not wading. i was fishing basically in 2-3' of water throwing it in the current then letting it drift into eddies and then every once in awhile raising my rod. The current was some what stong but there were 2 people out there wading with no problem

Congrats on the smallies...nice to see that they may be starting to turn on .....
How was the water depth/speed, were you wading? Tomorrow's forecast calls for rain but if the water is still low and approachable, I'm definately interested.
Nice pics.

Got to the geneva dam at about 12:30 and left around 3:30.
I tryed using a slip bobber and a minnow in eddies for about 30 minutes with nothing to show. Then i switched to a spiltshot and a #4 red hook and minnow. And got him
About 15 minutes later i got this guy on the same presentation
Then after a hour of not catching anything i switched a jig and minnow and got this guy
Totals:3 smallies all 11-12" all on large fathead minnows.
