FishArt Looks like I'm open for either date. Why don't continue this conversation via PM's as I'm sure we're boring others - lol!

Sounds good to me guys. The Sunday we speak of is the 18th or 25th...either one is fine with me...but I just wanted to make sure.

FishArt Sunday's are good for me Jim.

Captain Jim Wow, that was almost two years ago Cully, not last year!

Like an old fart like me should remember that? Now that I read it again I do.

It's a good thing we don't read about these very often!

I guess we all need our chops busted a little, huh?

Dan, Marty, let's try to set a date to get you and the dogs together after the Jan. Gun Deer Season weekend after next.

FishArt Jim/Dan, I'd love to get together with you guys. Ruby has never been out with other dogs and it might throw the light switch on (well, maybe the "dimmer switch" - lol!)

I am 100% guilty of not spending the time with my pooch. Tried cutting corners this time, but that obviously didn't work. Dan, you remind me of me with my first Lab. I was totally into the training and spent a LOT of time with her. That was before kids however!

Keep in touch guys!

It's called sarcasm

Just busting Denny's chops a little bit, 'cause last year he called himself a snob when he commented about the uneasy feeling he gets when he reads the posts from hunting outings. Notice, I don't dispute a word he says about training dogs. But, come on... let's face it. He's a snob. (Perhaps I didn't use the appropriate amount of winking icons in the last post to denote that sarcasm was being employed, but I thought it was self evident).

Here's a link from last year's post for your viewing pleasure. ... sc&start=0

here we go

That would be pretty sweet to work Mya with Ruby. Here dad is a pheasant guide dog up in Northern WIS. I'm trying to get up there one of these days to work her along side him too.
I'm good almost all weekends..I just need about a weeks notice to let the wife know. She went to the hunt tests with me last Fall, so she is very understanding and has really started to understand my passion for hunting with my pooch. So let YOU let me know when we are heading out brotha...
