30 more Ilinois Hunters certified this past weekend, with 100% of class succesfully completing the course.

More hunters to support the cause!

FYI- Still a shortage of volunteer instructors in IL, get involved if you have a weekend or two a year to volunteer!

Hunter Safety Class-Mundelein Sept 14 & 15 "FULL"

Just a heads up, I have organized and am teaching the IDNR Hunter Safety Class Sept. 14th and 15th at the Mundelein Police Dept. It is the only class scheduled in Lake Co. right now before hunting season really kicks off, and it has basically filled up in a week posting on the DNR site. I do have a couple possible openings if several folks that contacted me do not confirm soon. If interseted, send me an email and I'll try to get you in if I can. Please use Sept. Hunter Safety as the subject line.

You must be able to attend both the Friday evening (6-9pm) and Satuday (8am-5pm) classes to be certified. Additional information can be found on the IDNR web site under education, safety programs, hunter safety, and Lake for county under the class offerings by co. link.

Happy and Safe hunting to all!

Captain Jim
