Hornbaker13 Yes. Ponderosa for sure. Never been there before. When i said no weeds, i also meant no underwater stumps or trees or anything. Looking at my depthfinder, i noticed the humps and depths. 60ftt was the deepest i recorded where i went. But everything seemed flat. Straight drops and flat bottoms. As i said, no trees, no stumps or real structure. I heard there were northerns, but certainly didnt catch any or see any follow ups. Saw lots of bass, but mostly small. Drove around a lot and saw no schools of fish. Heard it was a good lake for crappie, bit didnt see anything on the depthfinder. I really liked the lake though. Quiet, clear, and i think there could be real potential. Time will tell

Polish Joe You sure you were on pondo. It'd a bit early for any major weed growth. But the lake is loaded with humps. Especially the west side of it. Also most shoreline there has a sharp break and bass will hold tight to the reeds. Position your boat perpendicular to the shore and make parrelel casts along it with crank baits and spinnerbaits.

Had a great weather day on Ponderosa saturday. Only caught 2 LM Bass though. Looks like a tough lake to fish because there doesnt look to be any weeds or structure. Anyone have any tips?
