I was up bright and early Wednesday so I could fish a small pond by my house. I fished between 11 to 12:30 pm. I threw super spots(rattle baits)and fished them fast and slow. The weather changed from sun to clouds every 10 minutes> so I changed colors after every cycle of sun and clouds. I caught 1 nice bass(quality 2.5 lber) on a blue splatterback with white sides and belly.I also caught moss on almost every cast but I never gave up.I thought he was a big one because he rolled alot but that might have been because of the cold weather and shallow water. I will start fishing the ponds every other day for the next several weeks. I also had a fellow fisherman say he nailed a 15 and 17 inch crappie on big minnows. Another highlight was my slide down the very muddy hill....> Wipeout..Roy
