COLD! But well worth the trip. Felt good just to get out and clear the cob webs from the equipment. Dances With Fish finally got to use his new boat. We got there about 4:45am and were 3rd in line. Surprised, either too cold or people just don't know it's open yet. Water temp about 72 near the 600 marker. Crankbaits didn't get a smell. Soft plastics were the key. Two largemouth (biggest just under 2lbs.), two smallies, and one channel cat. Tough to fish plastics in that wind. Only about 20 trailers in the parking lot when we left, about 10:00am.
