Kevin Dells and I got out today and gave the Rock River a try in my boat. It was cold, windy, and cloudy; perfect walleye weather. We ended up landing 27 walleyes between the two of us and I got my first smallie of the year. The numbers sound impressive but again none of the walleyes made it past 10".The smallie measured out at a fat 12 1/2" and had nice dark color markings. I'd post a picture but my USB ports aren't working on my computor right now. It sure was easy to tell the difference between a smallie and a dink walleye. All in all it was nice to be out on the water with another experienced angler and we caught enough fish to keep us warmed up.
