Did okay got 11 walleye, bad news is none of them legal. Used a Lindy rig with a 1/2 - 3/8 oz. no snag sinker and large fathead. (the best sinker on earth) Fished the west side of river in the edge of the eddy. Got most of our bites from half hour to sunset to dark

Congrats on the fish. Even the little ones are fun to catch. There is a boat launch at the dam right? Any idea what it costs to launch a boat from there?

BT I have a question for you. Were you moving that lindy sinker at all? I started off with 6 of these sinkers and was short casting them and trying to bounce them back, I found them VERY SNAGGABLE!!! Last year in Canada I found if merely lowered over the side and used close to the boat that they were ok. I for one don't believe there worth the dough, Mrely my 2 cents. Kevin

Hey fishin musician what i did was anchor with about 75 ft of rope out on the edge of the eddy. What this does is swing me around in a big circle then i do pretty much just vertically jig them as I go round and round.
