I got out for about 45 minutes today and found this 17.5 inch guy hungry.
Same area as the last few times out.
1/8 oz jig with a 3" green pumpkin helgie.

Great fish Ed. Fantastic coloring. How are you fishing that jig and helgie?
Nice chunk Ed :)2 you can just feel it in the air sometimes, the sun comes out, the birds start singing and you think the bite just turned on. wish I could have got this morning for an hour or so.

Just bouncing it on the bottom really.

Real nice fish ED, It kind of sucks having to take your own pics doesn't it?

That is a nice fish Ed. I gotta get me into some of dem der smallmouth bass. My catch ratio of LM to SM is probably 200 : 1. Not complaining 8:) , but methinks some more time spent on smallie water is imperative.
