·I was wondering what temp the smelt start coming in? I live in Indiana and we dont have a closed season. It seems we are usually seeing some smelt by now. Any reports would be great. Thanks, Jared.
Anyone know the water temp at the lake front?

43 to 48 deg. is what the smelt like, normally.The lake now is 35or so.It will be a while.Although we were getting smelt in the fall on minnows while perch fishing at 95. RIP SOME LIPS!!!

I was at 95 th yesterday and the water temp was 37.
