I'm going to Plainfield for Memorial Day Weekend. I'm taking my young nephew fishing. He lives five minutes from Van Horn Woods, but that's only bluegill fishing and it's very weedy. The Dupage River intersects their subdivison and the water has a steady flow. The river is by Route 30 and Frontage Rd. Is there good fishing there? Or any suggestions like local ponds where he can have a good time? you can PM me. I'm also new to fishing just trying to make another fishing fan out there.
