Got out Sat. from 4:30 - 5:15 behind the Police station. Went out looking for pike, using a #3 Mepps white and red dressing with a copper blade, casting the backwater area and then working my way around the top of the dam and back into the east shore of the Mill pond. Caught 3 Northern 18", 26", & 28.5" medium fast retrieve parallel to the shoreline and thru the eddys. How's that for giving up way to much info. With that said, all fisherpeople that don't like actually looking for thier own spots or thinking of what might work, try this on any of the calmer sunny days before the water warms up to much.

I haven't been doing bad, it's just a matter of getting out before the cold fronts move in. If you know where the bait fish are going to stack up out of the direct current it's a pretty safe bet that the Northerns and Muskies will be there.
