Fished by up and down the cemetary shoreline in wind and rain for four hours. Managed 3 chunky cats (1.5-3lbs) and about 20-30 bluegill. Cats hit like little freight trains. Bluegills were really finicky. Had a shy bite weighted as much as possible and they still wouldnt take it under. I simply watched the bottom of the float tilt slightly to one side or the other. All blue gills were caught 1-2' off the shore on night crawlers. Pretty fair size too. No dinks.
Cats were caught on drophsot rig with nightcrawler halves dragged along the bottom. All tight to shore as well.
