Parked and walked the shoreline yesterday to check conditions and water temps. Water clarity was very good, saw one jumper and two small cruisers early but besides that nothing. Then again I didn't bring my poles. Surface temperatures of 65 degrees in the inner harbor and anywhere from 61-64 in the main lake. Spoons and cranks are my weapons of choice when the tunas come a knockin'.
Do you usually have better luck inside harbors or the main lake? I had limited success yesterday and got one behind McCormick and one on the inside of the harbor opening at Montrose. Still new to the game so I apologize for all the questions.
