Fished a wind protected bay off of the Main lake at Busse for a few hours this afternoon. Water levels are low and clarity is still pretty muddy. Winds were pretty brutal, but with the sun out it didnt feel too bad.
The lake is pretty riled up and the waves were pretty big. Fishing is still slow, only got 1 fish (walleye)within the first hour(around 3:00) that measured 14.5 inches. Caught on a yellow 1/16 oz jig and 3 inch brown twistertail worked slow in the current. Tried everything for the rest of the afternoon without another bite. The bigger 19-21 inch fish still haven't shown up for me. Hoping they turn on soon.
