Yes people that's right. Was out that way this afternoon and thought I would check. Open water everywhere, the whole lake. Wish I would have had a pole. There was one guy out there fishing and he said last week there was still 3 inches on top, and today no ice anywhere. Now all we need is some warm water and active fish.

The fish are already active. Fished Sunday from 3p till they asked me to leave. Center dam rip-rap south pool side all that was needed was a rasto tipped with a gulp waxie about 16in-20in from the bobber. Ended up with about a dozen assorted sunfish and two dozen crappie. Crops averaged about 8in. biggest gill about 6in. was nice to get out. Play with the depth a bit till you find them I suggest going on a weekday if you can. There was maybe 15-20 guys on that maybe 50 yard stretch Sunday.
