I will be fishing clinton for the first time, come April 19th. What am I to expect. What will be the fish of choice. Also any ideas on where to start and what to use? Thanks TK

Let us know what you prefer to fish for. Are you wanting table fare or just something to stretch your line? Without a doubt you will want to fish from Mascoutin east to the 48 bridge. Trolling cranks between Dewitt and 48 will take whites and stripers. Crappies will be in the trees and walleyes will be on windswept shoreline. Jig and 1/2 crawler work great for eyes. Jigging spoons on creek channel works great for whites. Good luck!
