Has anyone had success with a spinner for coho? I'm thinking of using silver blade but Michigan water maybe too rough to get the lure down to fish?

This time of year the coho are up high in the water, I've gotten bit on small (gold) little joe spinners with a strip of squid meat. small white twistertail type grubs with squid are hard to beat as well!

I've caught coho, browns and steelhead at Dean Mitchell(previous springs)using a vibraxx spinner with a flo. orange body and silver blade.

Thanks to all who responded--this is a great site for novice angler like me to get help.

I just got my fishing license and salmon stamp--wish me luck for my first coho.

Try a silver bladed rooster tail. Let it sink and retrieve medium speed and an ocassional twitch. I have caught several BIG browns like this. Montrose behind the bait store is good.
