Crappies at Shabbona Lake

Fished Shabbona from 9 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and found no crappie. Used crappie minnows and waxies. Fished the likely spots and various depths. Water was very cold and needs to warm more. Caught a few bluegill in 3-4 feet of water over the emerging weed beds. Talked to everyone I saw and many were skunked and a few caught a bluegill or two. A beautiful day though although the wind whipped up white caps.27
