Wednesday (March 27th) thought I would head out to Crystal Lake for some late season icefishing . Made a special trip out to Dave's bait for some waxies and spikes. Then I headed over to the lake. However, to my surprise they locked up all access to the lake . From the shore it did not appear like the shoreline was in bad condition and there were no open spots on the lake yet. However, with the locked gates and inability to access the lake I am uncertain how about ice thickness.

Just park and enter through the park dist. yard next to the gate. Gates have been locked for a week. This is an annual thing.

I tried to walk around, but I did not see any openings. In addition all of the gates were locked. I tried each lock to see if they would open. However, none of them opened.
