Got three smallies on Thursday in the C'Ville area from some flooded timber. Most of my usual areas were way deep and too fast. Used a white 3/8 oz. spinnerbait to boat a 18.5, 15 and 12 incher. Was hoping for some pike in the wooded shallows but no luck. Water temp was about 63 in the river but would shoot up to 65 and even 68 in some of the shallow bays. Launched from the KCFP area on Williams Road in C'Ville.
