Any advice for trout - I found that small minnows are the best for this lake about 2 feet down. I also caught them on small spinners. Never had luck with power baits...

Berkley Power Bait works wonders at Deep Quarry. About 4 years ago the kids and I went on opening day and did very well. Most people say to put the bait down about 2 feet, we had ours down about 3 to 4 feet. It was raining and very cold that day so that may have made the difference. My daughter and I got our picture in the local paper that day holding a very nice stringer of trout. BTW... might as well keep the trout, they are great eating and thats what they are there for. I'm sure they can't spawn in these small lakes anyway.
