East Branch Forest Preserve is located on the east side of Glen Ellyn Rd. south of Army Trail Rd.
There are two bodies of water at the site.......Rush lake and Sunfish pond.
At the far east end of the Preserve lies the east branch of the Dupage river.
Rush and Sunfish both are good fisheries. I prefer Sunfish pond ( further from the parking lot ).
Remember to report poachers in this area!
Be on the lookout for ticks!
I fished there this last weekend. Cold front hurt but still caught a few. As far as the ticks, they are already worse then all of last year. I flicked them off all day. I'm afraid to bring the dog with me. She'd get infested...
