Today’s wind will not help your cause. I was out there Tuesday and it was like chocolate milk until you hit 35 feet of water. I talked to a friend that fished the same day and he was getting fish in 85 feet of water. This bizarre weather has really spread the fish out. One thing that both of us had in common was that we caught fish in the bottom half of the water column with wire or downriggers. My bite on Tuesday was strictly a spoon bite; I ran everything but only got fish on spoons. Good luck tomorrow and be careful out there.

You may have talked me out of going tomorrow. We still have a lot of fishing days left....no need to waste a vacation day just to hunt for fish and fight the weather. Thanks for the input.

Hold onto that vacation day, the water will clear and the best is yet to come.
