Monday, April 22 I got out to White Oak pond on MLK Dr. in Normal. I caught 26 bass within about 2 hours. Most were largemouths, with a couple yellow bass in between. The majority of the fish were on the wind blown shoreline (big suprise). They were all caught on a small #2 Blue Fox spinner. I give this report so that any dads want to get there kids out there this would be a great place and time to do it. Most were pretty small but a few went up to about 14 inches, and hey, its always fun on an ultralight.
