Will it be worth going out Thurs. at Starved Rock. How is the water clarity and depth.

With this new board, whitch is great, I don't
know how to check the river level. At least I haven't found it yet.

Go to the Spring Valley Walley Club site - you can check up to the minute river conditions there - but it don't look good for Thursday

Hey the conditions are not great but they are improving- you are not gonna slaughter em but I've caught fish in worse conditions. Lets hope for no rain for a week or so.

I think it would be worthwhile.By tomorrow morning the river should be back to a foot or two above where it was before the rain.I think the clairity will be good enough to haul a few aboard.I will be fishing it all day Fri. in preps for the Carpenter tourn. on Sat. and the Prarieland Eyes on Sun. If you do go out tomorrow, please post conditions and results.Good luck.......the hammer.

Went out today but had no luck. River was still pretty cloudy but it is my understanding it is clearing up. Went to Cajun's for bait and he said he expected people to start catching fish Fri. and that the water clearing up a bit. We didn't stay long and decided to try our luck at Mazonia instead. (two small muskies and one bass). Pretty windy. Good luck in the Tourn.
