Fished the St. Joe River, in Michigan this past weekend. My 11 year old son landed a 34 in. steelhead off an egg-suckin' leech that he tied himself. I land a 30+ in. steelhead off the same pattern, except the egg was orange, not yellow. My son had quite a time getting the fish in. It was something to see. Great a day on the river. We caught several suckers before the steelhead. It was a "God Bless" day.
