what needs to be done when the bass is just following your lure but dont want to bite specially on bright days like this. Lots of fish inside the harbor but they dont want to bite.

if i recall you were using BPS xps minnows at belmont. if they are floating minnows, try using suspending minnows, with very long pauses, say up to 20 seconds, after the pause, just slightly twitch it. if your using a large one, try using a smaller one. if your's are brightly colored baits, try more subtle, natural colors or vise-versa. downsize your line to 6lb test. try florocarbon lines. above all, if you can see the fish, remember....they can see you. are you familar with real tree brand camo? go get yourself a head to toe turkey hunting camo outfit, with the face net...lets see, the early spring, oak forest design sounds good. stand there with one arm out and slightly bent, so you look like a tree...i'm just playing with ya. does provide for a good visual though. the fun in the sport is to try and find out what it takes to get them to bite. good luck and let us know if you have any luck getting those followers to hook-up.
