I plan on fishing with plastic helgramite lures this spring. I know they will not be as good as the real thing but I would like to give them a whirl. Any suggestions on tactics for fishing the lure, rigging etc. Thanks for the help.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but have had a hell of time finding them. I know lunker lure(s) makes them, but if you want anything from them except a sluggo, you pretty much have to mail order it. The closest thing i have found is a wooly booger. Sorry if this isn't exactly an answer to you question.
