I'm sure you could do it, but safely... not too sure.
Going under bridges may be like going under the bridge at Heideke when the water is high.

If that's the case there should have been someone out there writing tickets.
I stopped by the river for a half hour (caught 1 small smallmouth) and saw at least 4-5 different boats running the river.

The system remains in closure status for the lower river and no-wake on the upper river and lakes. Please check back here for notice from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources that conditions for navigation have returned to favorable status.

Caution! Significant DEBRIS remains in the system. Please be extra cautious on and around bridges as currents and other conditions may be more dangerous, and may trap debris. Partially submerged items may also be present.

Their term lower river only includes the river from the Algonquin dam north.

I thought it was the opposite - from Algonquin dam south. If thats the case My bad :oops:

I do know there are several boat launches in the area closed with signs that read: "closed by order of the KCFPD"
