As the title implies im thinking about heading up to kenosha to give it a shot this weekend if anyone thinks it will be worth the drive. Also on side note other than roaches what other baits are working and how far down should i fish.

Some others were using and catching fish on spawn in the skein. Not sacs. And all my fish came about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 ft under the surface on a weighted slip float. Water clarity was about 3 ft. If that holds up and there's not a big NE blow tonight or tomorrow I'd say the trip is worth it.

I was at montrose this afternoon to check the wind/water. Judging from the 30 mph wind and 4-5 footers I'd stay home till maybe next week thursday ! Water will be too dirty. Chocolate milk.

Big Saw, I was thinking Kenosha or Michigan City. However, by the time the snow stops there will be anywhere from 8-12 inches of snow between those two places. After your report on the waves and wind at Montrose today, I am thinking better luck next week. Thanks for the update.
