I need info on what baits and where to use them in the kishwaukee for smallies. I usually fish it where the rock and kish meet but there is no longer access to the kish from the north side of it. There are many no trespassing signs and every access is blocked off. Are there any other good spots on the kish, where and how could I get to them. Help me out and I shall try my best to help you out thank you.

<font color="#00FF00">Ive answered this question so many times im not going to get as crazy as i usually do,use mapquest or something of that nature and look up forest preserves on the Kishwaukee theres about 15 of them,and they all hold smallies to some extent. If you were to look at some of the posts before yours,you would find theres a club dedicated to smallmouth inperticular. We have four outings planned over the next six months,the outings are open to the public. You should try and make 1 or 2,you'll learn a lot.
